DDT NEWSLETTER 11/17/20 My Good People, here are the updates. Its a little long, but informative **I MISS YOU GUYS!!!** DDT has been doing trips each year since... 2008. To have it shut down so drastically has really blown my mind! I know I needed a break--but not a fall off of a cliff! I miss all of the camaraderie and fellowship from our Family. I miss the Good morning hugs and Kisses. I miss the Laughter and Dancing. I miss the Sermons on the Beach. I miss our Theme and Pool Parties....*I MISS THE LOVE THANG!* **THE HARD TRUTH:** RONA has not let up. That Beyotch is still raging across America. I've received numerous calls about our schedule for next year so people can put in their vacation time...and the truth is WE CAN'T TRAVEL NEXT YEAR--Its still not safe. This is the hardest decision that I've had to make. I do it with the safety and concern of our DDT Family. I know we may lose a lot of our clients--especially the new ones who haven't traveled with us before (and don't know how WONDERFUL our experience is), but I have to do what I think is right. We'll start taking deposits next Spring for our 2022 Itinerary. SO SAVE SOME MONEY SO YOU CAN DO AT LEAST TWO! **THE GOOD NEWS:** The Good News is there are Vaccinations and Medicines on the Horizon that appear to be able to beat RONA down. Its not for me to recommend taking a vaccination--that's an individual choice, but there appears to be some with 90-94% efficacy and some Therapeutics that have been developed that will soon make Rona feel like a regular Flu. Lets all pray that they are successful. **2022 ITINERARY: The BIG SQUEEZE!** For 2022 We're going to do a BIG SQUEEZE! We'll start taking deposits for the trips in 4 months--so be ready to get back out on the road. We usually do 4 trips plus a Winter Wonderland Getaway. LAST CHANCE FOR REFUNDS! THIS IS IT! I sent the instructions to get your refunds in the last 5 Newsletters (weeks). If you followed them, your check is in the m...ail. Remember: It must be for $600 and over--unless the deposit was sent in 2020. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY I'M PROCESSING THEM. As I explained previously, we're also unable to roll your money over to next year's trip. The reason for that is we don't have a contract signed for 2021. If we don't have a contract--I can't hold the money in escrow and must return it--or be taxed on it. NO BUENO! DDT NEWSLETTER 8/24/20 My Good People, here are the updates: **LAST CALL FOR REFUNDS** I understand the frustration of not getting your refund timely. First of ...all, DDT is one of the few travel companies who's giving their clients cash refunds and not future credits. I've processed over 400 people and still have some to go. By rushing to get the checks out, I've sent some people two checks. Thank God they were honest and let me know (like Anthony Gardner). This is a tedious procedure because I need to double check that we get the RIGHT amount sent to you the FIRST time, so we can alleviate doing it twice. Our problems are compounded by the slow down at the USPS. I CAN'T CONTROL THAT! It took 31 days for Tanisha to get her check!! If you still want your check stopped because the mail is slow, the Bank Fee is $30. Everyone is asking me to stop the checks and send new ones, and honestly, DDT can't bear that expense for this number of people. If you want to get the money now, we can deduct the fee from your new check or PayPal. We've hit the limit with Zelle and Cashap. **INSTRUCTIONS** To make matters worse, some people have still not followed the explicit instructions that I posted 4 weeks in a row. THIS IS THE 5TH AND FINAL WEEK. Because of this, their refund has not been sent out. As I said last week, I'm going to finish processing the refunds as of the 28th. Only the people who have properly sent in their requests by that time will have their refunds sent out that evening. Any/Everyone else will have their refunds sent when time permits. AGAIN--If you follow these 3 simple steps your check will be mailed ASAP: 1) Make copies of your payments; whether it be by Zelle, Cashap, PayPal or Electronic Bill Pay (let me know which). 2) Send ME the copies of your payments to this Email address ([email protected]) and cc Barb and Quinnae. DO NOT SEND TO THEM DIRECTLY AND NOT SEND TO ME...And DO NOT send to my old email, FB Messenger, my phone inbox or Instagram account. 3) Send me your mailing address. Numerous people have moved and we don't want to send to the old address on file and have to duplicate the process or stop payments. If you do this you'll have your money back quickly. THIS IS NOW THE FIFTH WEEK OF ME SAYING THIS--AND PEOPLE ARE STILL NOT DOING IT! Its very frustrating for us both. **ALMOST DONE** We're nearly complete the refunds. Lets get this over with so you can get your money back and I can go back to finishing DDT's Club Zanzibar. The Health and Wellness/Conference Center--which is Phase 1--is nearly done. The pic on the bottom left was the one I saw in Belgium and wanted to get. We (my Contractor Jason and I) made the one on the bottom right and the Black Wood Dance floor. We've actually started Phase 2 and will add the Pool on Phase 3. This is a place for the DDT Agents to do meetings and the DDT Family to hang out when they're in Atlanta. IMAGINATION BECOMES REALITY I saw the White Translucent Bar in the picture below while traveling in Belgium. Right away I wanted one. I was referred a contra...ctor named Jason from Roberta, and got him started. He first convinced me to try a Black Wood floor. I was ok with that. Then he built the Bar and we made it white...but it looked kind of Ehhh. So one Sunday I started looking for new panels and we saw the Black Marble that you can shine light through. I also wanted a Floating Bar. Thats a mirrored wall with glass shelves. Jason said he could do that too. And he trimmed it with the lighted panels. Robert Smoke told me to get the LED lights. That added another effect. This guy did his thing. He’s a perfectionist and didn’t want to cut corners like meI’m an Impulsive personso he went a little slower than I wanted. But he was right. The end result is forever and RIGHT. DDT CLUB ZANZIBAR IS READY. Now all of the DDT people have a place to chill when they come to Atlanta. This is Phase 1.
