Today, CPT Suchke (1-121 IN) and 1st Lieutenants Golubkov (2-121 IN), Ferris and Thompson (1-108 CAV), graduated from the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course. All four officers serve in the 48th IBCT and deployed with the brigade in 2019. Please help us congratulate their tremendous accomplishment as they continue to move forward in their careers. The MCCC prepares students for maneuver company command and staff responsibilities. The MCCC is the premier leader development cours...e at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE). The MCCC focuses on educating students to master the fundamentals of combined arms war fighting at the tactical level. It uses small group instruction and guided experiential learning to educate students on how to think on the battlefield and succeed as future Company Commanders and Staff Officers. #Loyalty #Duty #Respect #SelflessService #Honor #integrity #PersonalCourage

February was packed with great training for all of our Soldiers! Our Troopers sharpened their crew serve weapons knowledge by completing the Gunnery Skills Tes...t (GST) and then applying what they learned during simulations training in our new VCOT. This training will allow our Troop to effectively engage targets during upcoming live fire Gunnery and will enforce safety measures to keep us in the fight. Platoons also received their OPORD brief in preparation for March STX Lanes where they'll be evaluated and assessed on their ability to "shoot, move & communicate". We look forward to seeing all of our Soldiers back soon! 1-108th Cavalry

Big thanks to SSG Pickana for traveling to Rough Rider Headquarters from Volunteer Headquarters today! SSG Pickana spent his day ensuring all our Soldiers had updated IDs and verified that all dependents were documented in all military systems. When data in these systems are inaccurate, certain benefits such as TRICARE are affected. #RoughRiders #treatemrough #readiness #peoplefirst #maskup #socialdistance #sharedpurpose #hadtoredactthatcorner
