Seven years ago this month, Volunteers joined the Georgia National Guard’s response to the historic snowstorm affectionately known as Snowmageddon and Snowpocalypse! Happy Presidents Day, Volunteers! Do you know who was president and commander in chief when the Macon Volunteers were first organized?

Many have asked and here is the answer. The inauguration mission is complete, and Volunteers have returned home or are in transit. We applaud our Volunteers for accomplishing the mission, and thank our families, friends, and employers for their enduring support. "Send me!"
