Last month we raised concern with a proposal in Washington requiring financial institutions to report detailed information on your bank accounts directly to the IRS. This issue raises serious questions about your right to privacy. Yesterday the Georgia Bankers Association and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce joined forces in opposition to the rule, which would encompass every Georgian with a job or business.
