Sometimes, hero’s have beards and wear purple hats. Matthew Scully Mize is one of the most humble and gentle men I know. I get the privilege of doing some really cool stuff with him. His love for serving is indescribable. He gets vulnerable and real in this video. Please take the 10 minutes of yours day and check out this amazing video created by the lovely Jamie Tall
Guess who just got her own car, in her own name, with her own insurance??? This recovery warrior right here!!!! Not only did she earn that, but she also has developed self worth that is independent of anyone else’s beliefs. This. Is. What. Recovery. Looks. Like.
Screaming from the rooftops, THANK YOU!!!!! We are so appreciative of the Mayor and Commission & the Joint Development Authority of Athens Clarke County and the City of Winterville for their support of our mission. The application for funds was a super easy process and swiftly executed. Tonight, we will rest a little easier knowing that our community supports the valuable necessary service being delivered by #teamARC. Together, we are able to continue to offer ...long term supportive housing for those actively engaged in recovery from Substance Use Disorder. #InviteConnection #ModelIntegrity #EngageCommunity #PromoteRecovery #CultivateTeamwork #EncourageGrowth See more

It’s Red Ribbon Week. Join me in wearing red tomorrow for #RedOutDay to spread awareness of youth substance abuse prevention in our community. Historically, our DA’s office has taken a reactionary approach to this issue. The criminalization of substance abuse disorders is hurting our children, not helping them. That’s why I plan to bring reforms to the juvenile justice system so we can prevent these abuses in the first place - invest in resources that can help our kids stay on the right path and provide alternatives to incarceration for those who need help, such as a Youth Drug Court.
We celebrated recovery in a big way during our 27th alumni ceremony. Thank you to the courageous alumni that chose recovery, each and every day. We are so thankful to get to be in your lives. #alumnicare #celebrate
