ADPi is so excited to be supporting Feed the Frontlines Georgia this week! Feed the Frontlines Georgia is a nonprofit created by 3 UGA Panhellenic women, and has both active collegians and alumnae volunteering their time to be a part of our mission: raising money to buy meals from local restaurants in Georgia to provide warm meals to healthcare workers on the frontline of COVID-19. We have raised over $28,000 and provided over 1300 meals in the last three weeks, and we need ...your help to keep making an impact in Georgia. ‘Panhellenic Hearts Athens’ is happening this Monday, April 27th, through Wednesday, April 29th. Our sorority is competing to raise the most to support local Athens restaurants and healthcare workers at Athens Piedmont Regional. While each chapter has a fundraising goal of $1200, we are hoping to go above and beyond with your help. Please consider making a gift on GoFundMe (https://charity.gofundme.com//ca/panhellenic-hearts-athens)and include ADPi in your donation name or description or it will NOT be counted towards our total! If you would prefer, we also use Venmo: @FTFGA with ADPi in the description. 100% of the funds raised through this competition will go to buy meals from local Georgia restaurants for healthcare workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. Lastly, all donations to GoFundMe and Venmo are tax deductible as Feed the Frontlines Georgia is registered under a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We hope that you will join us to make sure we can return to the same Athens we know and love in the fall!
Hi everyone!!! We hope that you are all safe and healthy. Over the past month, we have been putting together a virtual spring philanthropy event. We are so excited to announce that ADPi Beta Nu will be hosting a Virtual 5K this SATURDAY, MAY 2nd to benefit our national philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities! This Virtual 5K is a race that can be completed from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on a trail, on the treadmill, in your neighbo...rhood, or on a track. It is completely up to you! You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. You are able to begin the race at whatever time is best for you. After you complete your race, we would love to hear about it!! So, you can join our Run for Ronald Facebook group and share your photos and connect with fellow participants, or you can tag @adpi_uga on Instagram in your post or stories and use the hashtags #runforronald #imrunninit You are able to sign up on our website- the link is attached below. It costs $10 to register, and all proceeds go to ADPi's national philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House. Come help us support a great cause during these challenging times! ANYONE and EVERYONE is allowed to participate, so please share this with your family members, friends, friends of friends, etc. HERE IS THE LINK TO REGISTER: https://www.adpiuga.org/run-for-ronald
