More congratulations are in order as another 140 newcomer has received his first set of wings! Flight nurse Luke Bales comes to us with both firefighter and ER experience and we are happy to have him on our team. Luke’s partner, Carolyn Ballard, is presenting him with his brand new wings. Congrats, Luke!

Congratulations to our newest flight nurse, Melissa Parker , on completing her first patient flight! Melissa comes to us with 9 years of ER experience in the surrounding area. Georgia Air Evac Medical Director, Dr. Stokes, along with her partner, Anna Sheridan, are presenting Melissa with her first set of wings!

We went all the way to Florida looking for warmer weather

Shout out and huge thank you to Jennifer and Audrey at @loweshomeimprovement in Milledgeville for donating a grill to our base!! It’s hard to get the helicopter in a drive through so we love being able to cook at the base. We can’t wait to use it!

Yesterday was flight nurse Josh Mullis’s last day with us and we are so very sad about it Josh was an AE 140 original and we will miss him and all the many laughs he gave us! Congratulations to @navicenthealthbaldwin and @airevaclifeteam_140 on the brand new helipad located next to the Emergency Room! The installation of this pad and... it's close proximity to the ER will allow patients arriving via helicopter easier and faster access to lifesaving treatment at the hospital.
