Albany Museum of Art

Midlands, a multimedia installation by Atlanta artist and writer Courtney McClellan, is the culmination of a three-year project that intersects art and performance with academic pursuits in the field of law. The exhibition continues through Feb 20, 2021 in the East Gallery of the Albany Museum of Art, 311 Meadowlark Drive in Albany, Ga.

Students at AMA Homeschool Day read about Frida Kahlo, talked about portraits, and visited the Escape Plan exhibition to write down the different facial features on Elinor Saragoussi’s characters. They then created low relief portraits inspired by the characters. #steameducation #artanseducation #museums #homeschool @flimmyflammy

The Albany Woman’s Club on Wednesday presented the AMA with 104 children’s books for the library and a cash donation. Club members Linda Snider, Betty Clark, Ginger Myers and Hazel Masters present the check to the AMA Education Director Annie Vanoteghem and Executive Director Andy Wulf. Thank you, ladies!
