Over the last 4 or so months, our food costs have risen around 40%. We had hoped that this was just a temporary issue and the prices would drop back down to what they were. The latest rules of the ridiculous. Please bring your mask with you when you come to the bar. Once you’re inside you don’t have to wear it, because how are you supposed to eat and drink wearing a mask. But please have one on your person.

Everyone has had their virus tests and we are all healthy again. We will once again be open Monday. Can’t wait to see you all then. Please remember, if you are sick, stay home and we will see you as soon as you are better!

We have some bad news. Two employees just tested positive for the virus. For the safety of everyone, employees and public alike we are going to close the bar immediately. With luck we will manage to open up again on Monday, but that is not yet certain. We will post updates here including when we will reopen.

Due to the recent Covid issues, please understand we may have issues with certain menu items till Thursday. We apologize for this, but the bar is not designed to be open for a week and closed for a week. Understand that we are doing everything possible to get our kitchen fully stocked back to full. Everything should be back to normal by Thursday

In the interest of safety for both the employees of Allie Katz and our patrons, I have decided to keep the doors shut for the next week. During this week we once again have the all the employees tested and will be completely disinfecting the bar from top to bottom. When we reopen, I would like to ask everyone that comes here, if you are experiencing any symptoms or showing any signs thst you have the virus please stay home. We cannot get past this virus until everyone does ...their part to contain it. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms stay home. If you have a fever, stay home. Even if you think you’ve been exposed to the virus, stay home. Let’s get this virus under control so we aren’t shut down for longer then we need to be. We hope to reopen July 20th as long as everything goes according to plan. We want everybody to protect yourselves, your family, and your community. We hope to see you all when we reopen and we appreciate your continued support. See more

So we have some unfortunate news. To try and ensure the best safety of employees and patrons alike I had all the employees and myself take covid tests. So far one test result has come back positive. That employee has not been at the bar since Monday so following the CDC guidelines as soon as we found out we completely disinfected the entire bar. Every surface that could have been potentially touched and all the ones that couldn’t have been touched have been completely san...itized. Hopefully we only had one employee sick, but if any more get sick we will be sure to inform the public at the earliest possible time. We are trying to ensure everyone’s safety in these times. Please, if you have any symptoms at all please have yourself checked and stay home until you have a result. The employee was completely asymptomatic, they had no reason to get tested except that we had everyone checked. See more
