To our AMAZING customers. Unfortunately, I need to update you on something and I'll cut right to it. There is a very good chance that, as of this evening, July 2nd, I have been exposed to COVID-19. In the interest of public safety, the plan now is for Alpha Bravo Armory to be CLOSED ENTIRELY, from Friday, July 3rd to Monday, July 20th. All relevant parties are getting tested, but until then, this will remain the plan.... I will attempt to reroute any inbound transfers. To all those who are STILL waiting for your web orders, I am so sorry. June was a challenging month, to say the least. To all those who have transfers WAITING FOR PICKUP, please allow me to waive your transfer fee when the store reopens. Additionally, if I can obtain the caliber of your firearm, I will be happy to order you a box of ammo, free of charge. With any luck, this is nothing. I'll keep everyone posted. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

I’ll never forget the first time I thought about how poorly Memorial Day is honored each year. It has been years since I sat on this beach watching the sunrise ...with three of my best friends ... all of us still awake from a long night of drinking. As the sun came up and other vacationers started to flood the beach, our conversation turned to how messed up it was that this holiday has become nothing more than an excuse to party. I remember the dumbest, most bro-diculous agreement that 4 drunk military guys in their early twenties could make. I remember an empty beer can being thrown when it was suggested that if any of us were to die in Iraq, we’d throw their dog tags in the ocean and the rest of us would come to the beach at sunrise each year to pour out a shot of whiskey and do Memorial Day right. I honestly wouldn’t have imagined that any of us were going to remember that conversation. I certainly never imagined that in 2020, my alarm would go off at 3:00 am and I’d be making my annual trek to arrive before the sunrise at the beach, to sip on a whiskey bottle and pour out 3 shots at the spot where I tossed in their dog tags. I never would have imagined how many times that this ridiculous tradition would pull me through some dark days. There are a lot of years that I really don’t feel like publicly posting about this, and admittedly, today is one of them. I’ve been asked what I do on this annual beach visit ... and it’s as lame as you might expect. I sit on a beach drinking whiskey and reliving memories, picturing where they’d be in life today, what my life might look like if things had gone differently ... and most importantly, whether or not I am living a life worthy of their sacrifice. And that is why I post. I hope anyone reading this will take a moment to ask themselves if they are living in a way that honors those who gave up not only the life they lived, but also the life they would have lived. Make this day mean something. To my fallen brothers, cheers To my brothers reading this, I’m here if you need me. I know it sucks, but we owe it to them to live on in their honor. Don’t give up. #memorialday

Side note: COVID19 is very serious and I’ve had a few friends hospitalized due to this and one was found dead in his home. This is a very scary time, but this meme is just here to provide some lightheartedness to the situation; NOT underscore the importance of it in any way! With that being said, I hope everyone is staying safe.

UPDATE: For the duration of the Shelter In Place order, Alpha Bravo Armory will be closed to the public. However, over the weekend, the Department of Homeland Security added firearms retail to the essential list. What this means is that I will continue to be in the store, monitoring shipping, answering the phone, etc. But the doors will be locked, and they will only be unlocked to receive shipments and by individual appointment. I know this is an inconvenience for all ...involved, but, given the dire projections for the spread of COVID-19 over the coming weeks, operating in any other manner is simply an unnecessary risk for all of us. If you’d like to schedule an appointment to fill out your background check or pick up your merchandise, just email me ([email protected]) or call the store at (770) 558-1452. As a final detail, if there are no appointments, I will be closed on Saturdays, as well as our customary Sunday closure, for the time being. I’ll still be here Monday through Friday to receive whatever shipments arrive. These changes, while drastic, will take effect immediately. See more
