Friday was one month since I went back to work after my wrist and elbow surgery and also... after the governor released the "beauty industry" to resume "normal" work environment... (with precautions)... I have tried to think of a way just to say...... ***THANK YOU*** (it never seems enough)... to all of you that have made appointments with me... ... it was SUCH A BLESSING TO SEE ALL OF YOU AGAIN To share stories of how your family is doing... and to share laughs AND to those that are continuing to make appointments with me... I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SOON I've missed you all something terrible!!! I think sometimes as we grow older and things just don't seem to be as simple as they were once apon a time... *when our biggest decision was probably what we wanted on our sandwich at lunch* or "who we were going to play with at recess"... The devil tries to creep in and make us wonder all kinds of things... and he even tries to make us unhappy about where we are in life... or question if we made the right choices for everything that has gone on in our lives... EVERY LITTLE DETAIL... and he even makes us think... "is this where I'm supposed to be in life"... just trying to put doubt in our minds and to steal our joy... surely by now we all know the devil is definitely the author of confusion... I have always known that this industry is where I'm supposed to be... job wise... Maybe not for all the reasons some people are in it... but my main reason WHEN I STARTED... was knowing "I could be what I needed to be for my family"... I could work hours that I could be at home with Morgan... Randy was over the road at the time... so I had to be at a job where I could still be present in my babies life.... My Mama was also very sick... and Daddy needed me to be able to help Mama... I knew I also had to be where I could be a daughter like I needed to be as much as I could be.... As I look back at all of the places God has had me (in jobs in this industry)... some I am still very grateful he put me there and others I still ask God if i jumped the gun "on that one"... lol... but I have learned in EVERY place something that I have taken with me... Soooooooo I say all that... to say... I believe with all my that God has been working on me this whole time and I've never been anymore THANKFUL... HAPPY... AND BLESSED to have you all in my life... and just another day of confirmation that "I am EXACTLY where I'm supposed to be"... ALL MY LOVE, BETH

I am completely in awh of something that happened to me yesterday... My phone rang... of course I answered it... and a voice on the other end says "Hi... My name is....... and I am from Birmingham, AL... none of our barber shops are open over here still...and I need a haircut really bad... I looked you up and your reviews are amazing... I don't mind driving an hour and half or even 2 hours for a good haircut... could you please cut my hair? That means so much to me... and maybe he will be a regular after this haircut... BUT... having all of you local family and friends to continue to support me... and give me those kinda reviews... that a total stranger will go by to schedule his haircut.. touches my heart even more Some of you have been with me all of my 22 years in this industry and traveled with me every step of this AMAZING journey!!! Some I've gathered along the way!!! No matter how you became "mine"... I am so incredibly THANKFUL FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES

I've been doing my best to keep everyone updated through this "surgery" process... I wanted to remind you all that TODAY is my last day to work before my surgery on Tuesday... I'll be working 11am to 7pm tonight... or until I'm done Know your all loved and appreciated so much more than you realize A HUGE thank you to everyone that has kept me super busy and sane

Just an update: I had my doctor's appointment this morning... my surgery is scheduled for MARCH 17th... please be in prayer for me and my family... the doctor said that the nerve damage to my left wrist/elbow... on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 9 ... and same for my right wrist and elbow as well... so surgery is really my only option... the recovery time he told me today is 6-8 weeks... especially with both my wrist and elbow involved... Thank you all for your continued support a...nd I'll do my best to get your haircuts in before I go out for surgery... Just wanted everyone to know I will be at the shop tomorrow 9am to 5pm... Thursday is the nerve test on my arm and I will know more about when the Dr will schedule my surgery... ... Friday 9am to 5pm if everything is still going well... and also on Saturday 8am to 1pm... Thank you to everyone that has been praying for me... that has sent texts... messages... and called me... Just wanted to update everyone on what's been going on with me... I've been having issues with my left hand, fingers, wrist, forearm, and elbow for quiet some time now... (at least a year on and off)... right around Christmas the pain that I was experiencing was very difficult to get through... the nerve pain was the most intense I have experienced... lots of sleepless nights... and most days I was definitely struggling... I finally got an appointment with Resurgens today a...nd saw a specialist... It looks like I will be needing carpal tunnel surgery on my wrist and *some longer named surgery on my* elbow... the Dr said that he's gonna try and get me in within the next 3 weeks for that surgery... I have to complete a nerve study on February 6th... and we will go from there... No injuries have occurred... Just 22+ years of my profession The great news is that recovery time will be 3 to 4 weeks if everything goes as planned (just in time for the 4 week haircut guys...lol)... I will do my best to keep everyone updated... hopefully we can get those haircuts done before I have to go out for a month for my recovery Thank you to those of you that knew of my struggles and sent prayers up for me... they are SO APPRECIATED as are each of you and much loved as well

I hardly ever get on FB anymore... and I've been horrible at updating our families adventures... but I sure have enjoyed removing myself from all the negative "stuff"...
