Found the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus today. It looks like we’re looking at a cold snap. We even saw a few flurries today. We’ve been so Blessed to have people stocking the blessing box with food but the cold worries me. Worries my heart. So before class today I ran to the Lula Walmart and grabbed as many sets of gloves and hats that I could. I pinned them up on the railing for the taking may they warm someone’s hands or head on this cold night.

Heaven gained another angel. Thank you to everyone that prayed for our sweet grand daughter. She’s gone to be with her Heavenly Father and she’s no longer in pain. I’m so thankful for the time I spent with her Wednesday. We can never forget how precious each day is, no one is promised tomorrow. Love on your people while you can.

We are again asking for prayer warriors! Our Sweet Penelope needs a Christmas Miracle! We all know no matter what any doctor says the Ultimate Physician our God has the final say. Pray for her parents who are having to make decisions that no parent should ever have to make. And Jesus answered them, Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

So today I was worried. Worried because we had to throw away nearly everything at the restaurant, worried because 1 day without sales is tough but 2 days creates a huge financial burden but I have been praying. Praying because I know God always provides. When I’m down I get into Praise and Worship mode! And as I started knocking out the errands for the day my mood had shifted. I had some pep in my step and as God always does He showed up and showed out. I had some unexpected ...money to come. Money that makes a huge difference after missing 2 days of sales. So as I was walking through Walmart grabbing the necessities for the house I noticed an older woman. She had caught my eye several times. Each time I smiled. In check out she settled in behind me. That’s when I felt that nudge. That feeling that I should just buy her groceries. I don’t know if you get those nudges from the Lord but you feel crazy and you feel slightly uncomfortable. So I paid for my groceries and walked away. I didn’t make it 5 feet when I realized I knew better. Just jump in. Just pay. The nudge was strong. I turned around. Told her God had blessed me today and I’d like to bless her. She cried. I cried. The feeling was over whelming. She said she was 93 and no one had ever done anything like that. What a blessing she was to me. This may be the first time I’ve ever left Walmart with a heart so full . I’m telling you all this so maybe next time you feel the nudge, just jump! God wants us to love on our neighbors and when he gives you the opportunity..... don’t hesitate. See more

We are still without power. Estimated time to get it back on is 11pm Sunday. We are still taking it hour by hour and since we’re within walking distance of the restaurant if it comes back on we’ll be there as soon as we can to evaluate opening procedures! There’s lots of families in Lula without power. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

I truly believe God didn’t put me on earth to run a restaurant. He put me here for moments like this . Tonight we experienced so much love in the room. I hated it was our last evening with Santa but it ended with such an amazing group! We’re already planning Christmas in July! Kind of a mid year thing to let the kids know Santa’s still around
