American Contractors Riverview Rd Project American Contractors teamed up on this project with Astra as GC an part of the Riverview Landing. Riverview Landing is a community where families come together to embrace adventure and bask in the ease of riverfront living, all within 10 miles of Midtown Atlanta and inside I-285. American and Astra started this project 2 years ago with Redesign and plan changes we are in the final stages of competition of this project. ... The work Friday and Saturday consisted of shifting traffic on new road and realignment of Dickerson RD Grading, demolition, milling , paving and hauling in dirt for shoulder. The work starting Friday night at 7:00 Pm and ending Saturday night at 7:pm was months of planning and getting multiple trades together to achieve success of multiple people of the staff of Astra and American. What a Joyous reward to start this work Friday night with my Son Lil Joe and his Crew Oper Tim B, Oper Sham K, Foreman Mike C, Driver David W, and others. Riverview Rd was closed at 7:00 PM Joe started Milling and milled through the night untill 10:00 AM Saturday morning that’s 15 hours straight what an accomplishment what a team. My older Son Michael ( Buddy) was at job site at 7:Am to Assit with Oper Benny M, OPer Linney, labor Justin S, truck Drivers David W, Crystal M, Lamorris C, and others ending at 7:PM . Sheppard Trucking assisted on the project with Trucking on time and reliable as usual. Patterson landfill on Riverview Rd owner Ken Patterson needs to be commended I received a call on From Ken at about 1:45 pm telling me they were set to close at 3:PM and asked if he needed to extend his hours to accommodate our needs very unusual greatly appreciated not many calls like that that I’ve had the pleasure of receiving. Thanks Ken STS traffic control did a great Job handling and keeping traffic out of job site. Bartow paving working Friday paving new Road alignment and Saturday morning done a great job. Riverview Road will open today by noon for permanent realignment. Thanks to my Sons crews, Drivers, and all involved for a Safe Project very proud Special Thanks to all Great Job!!!!!!! See more
