SHOOT LIKE AN AIR MARSHAL WORKSHOP When: Saturday January 23rd | 10am-2pm Where: American Patriot Range 2526 Boots Harrison Rd Hortense, Ga Cost: $165 for American Patriot members, $180 for non-members ----- Outside of many special weapons teams, the tactical pistol skills regimen of the Federal Air Marshal (FAM) Service are unquestionably some of the most challenging out there. The time limits of the seven stages of fire within the original FAM Tactical Pistol Course (TPC) with its drawing from concealment, movements, and reloads are realistic, tactically sound, and personally challenging. Although they look easy on paper, when you must get hits in precise targeted zones at real life speed, success is a challenge. The rules of the TPC are simple Pass or Don’t. If you go over the time limit on any stage of fire...you fail. There are no do-overs on any string of firejust like in real life. So basically, you’ll need to complete the 30-round TPC with practically no mistakes. The skills required for successful completion of the TPC are parallel to those required to effectively and safely succeed in a real-life deadly force encounter. Come train to learn the tactical shooting skills needed to not only successfully complete the FAM TPC, but more importantly, to more fully prepare yourself to be not just armed but confidently ready to defend your life or that of your family if ever presented with the imminent threat of death or serious bodily harm in real life. ----- TOPICS: Concealed weapons carry and access Weapons Manipulation Shooting Platforms Combat Stance Concepts Tactical Movement Principles Tactical Reloading Tactical Grip Human Stress and Performance Intelligence gathering Engaging multiple threats And more.
