Apalachee High School Lady Cats Softball

Your Apalachee Softball Team BEAT the #1 Ranked Team in the GHSA (AAAAAA) last night to advance to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP next week in Columbus!!!!!!! Our team ...has battled and fought so hard to get where we are. These girls have certainly made our entire community proud! They represent our school so well by the way they play the game and the way that they carry themselves. Everywhere we go, we get compliments from opposing teams, fans, and administrators on how kind and respectful our girls are. This is only the 2nd time in our school's history that we have made it to the state championship (2007). This is such a HUGE accomplishment for our entire community! So many of you have had a huge impact on these young ladies and I wanted to make sure you all knew the amazing things these girls are doing this year. Opening Ceremonies are Thursday morning in Columbus. We play Pope High School at 2pm on Thursday. We will be posting pictures and live updates on our Apalachee Fastpitch Softball Twitter Account (@CheeFastpitch ).

Congratulations ladies! Wildcats win in 10 innings and advance to the sweet 16 for the 2nd year in a row! They will travel to Effingham for the next round. GOOD LUCK!

Need something for your kids to do this week? We are having our summer kids camp June 4-6 at Apalachee High School. Girls Softball Camp from 9-12. Boys Baseball... Camp from 1-4. For Rising 1st-8th grades. Both camps are a lot of fun and your player will get great instruction from our high school coaches & players! See more
