Aquinas won game 1 of the region tournament 1-0 over Mt de Sales with this double by Ethan Scott that scored Jay Hagler. The Fightin’ Irish travel to Macon tomorrow to play Stratford at Tatnall at 4:00. The Irish improved their record to 22-1.

Spring Sports Senior Athlete in the Spotlight: #15 Ward Tyre Ward has been on the Varsity Baseball team for 4 years. He plays Centerfield and pitches for the I...rish. Ward is currently having a big year at the plate for the Irish with 16 hits, two of which were home runs, and his 12 RBIs which led the team. Ward's experience as a 3-year starter has been essential for this season's team. Two more hitting stars emerged in the Irish's 18-8 win over Washington-Wilkes Friday night. John Parrish went 4 for 4 and Joseph Douglas went 3 for 5 with two t...riples and a double. AND... Bradley White hit his 9th home run AND Ethan Scott hit his 8th and 9th home runs of the season! The Irish have improved their record to 16-1. They play again Wednesday at Southeast Bulloch.
