Thursday, October 21, from 5 7 PM Marilyn Jobe will meet customers at a special reception held in her honor at ArtWorks. Refreshments will be served and items will be for sale. Artist of the Month Joy Garcia Joy is a fabric artist who has been sewing since the age of four. While growing up in Haddock, GA, near Macon, she was taught by her grandmother and great grandmother to sew, quilt, tat, crochet, cross stitch, and most importantly, think for herself. For the past twenty years, she has lived in Hayesville, NC, where she has sold her work in many local craft shows.
