Another way we are prepping for our re-opening on June 1 is having the gym professionally disinfected. Watch JAN-PRO spray all the germs away

We’re working hard over here to make the gym more safe for our members. We now have 18 (!) platforms for your social distancing pleasure, which will provide plenty of options for members to space themselves out appropriately.

Re-Open Announcement # As many of you know: Governor Kemp made the decision to re-open some businesses, including gyms, on April 24th. This is much earlier than expected and while we are encouraged at the possibility of opening soon we do not think May 1st (or the 24th) is a realistic or responsible time for us to do that. We apologize to those who were excited by such a prospect. We very much want to open our business again, but only when it makes sense to do so. Our curr...ent plan is to reopen our doors June 1st with a calendar-scheduling feature that is integrated into our members @officialrhinofit account. This will keep the number of members down to 15 at a time to reduce physical proximity. We will have more information for our members on that update soon. # As with everything these days things are subject to change, but this is how we plan to move forward in the spring. We really hope to see all of you come June! Stay safe and strong! See more

Hey guys! Competition ER Rack, Competition Kg Plates, and an Ohio Power Bar for rent. This rack is highly versatile. It can accommodate multiple lifters at once due to the adjustable rail arms, which do not require deloading the bar to achieve different rack heights mid-workout. Safety brackets are on both sides. The bench is at competition level and is incredibly sticky. There are 2.5Kg competition collars to secure the load prior to lifting. There is over 700lb of competition steel kilo plates that include fractional so the finest loads can be created. Creates about 50sqft footprint # All of this is $800 for the entire month of April, or $1500 dollars for April and May. Email [email protected]. Don’t comment on this post! First come, first served.

Due to a stay-at-home order by the Decatur mayor’s office, the gym will be closed until April 7th. BUT today we are disassembling equipment to send to our member’s homes so everyone can stay strong while we’re gone. See you all soon!

Oh yeah, it’s another COVID-19 update! # Atlanta has become a very different place in the past 72 hours. COVID has shut down a lot of travel, events, and general normal function of the city and its businesses. We believe this will turn around, though it is tough to say when that will be. As a result, we are sad to say that we are cancelling the @usstrengthlifting Spring Open ATL. All competitors should receive a full refund by Monday. If you do not, contact [email protected] and we'll get it sorted out. You can also have your USSF membership extended by 6 months by reaching out to [email protected]. # We hope to get one up and running in the summer, but we will certainly have another meet when the Autumn leaves are falling. We deeply apologize and are just as disappointed as you are. Looking forward to seeing all of you on the platform when the crazy times pass! The gym will continue to run as normal and we’re leaving it in your capable hands to be socially responsible for cleaning and keeping all of us healthy. See more

What exactly is the big deal with driving your butt off the bench anyways!? # In short, driving the butt off the bench increases the angle of the chest relative to the humerus, allowing more lower pec to be used such as in a decline bench press. Being able to use more of the lower pec makes the press easier, so if you can’t keep your butt down the weight is too heavy for you. Aka, driving the butt up is a cheat. Also - you look real silly when you do it. Check out our new video right here: https://youtu.be/8ZZcUZj2ryk

Ever wondered who to go see when something's hurting? Some people swear by chiropractors, some go to a medical doctor, and others go to physical therapists. In order to decide where to go, you need to be familiar with the mode of treatment the practitioner can provide. # Today we have Jackie Varnum of Spectrum Performance here to break down the different modes of care between MDs, PTs, and Chiropractors to help you decide which person to see. Check out the video at the link below!
