Because of concerns related to COVID-19, the Atlanta Wind Symphony has suspended all rehearsals and concerts for the 2020-2021. However, we are currently arranging for auditions for open positions in the ensemble. Auditions will be completed remotely this year, using video auditions instead of in-person auditions. AWS Audition Video Recordings are due by Friday, August 21, 2020. If you are interested in submitting a video recording for audition, please contact the AWS Personn...el Manager at [email protected]. Include a brief biography with your musical experience. You will be sent specific information about the audition for your instrument. We hope rehearsals will commence sometime in the summer of 2021. The 39th annual Patriotic Celebration Concerts are going virtual this year! Enjoy all your patriotic favorites in a unique online format including popular footage from the 2019 concert, favorite musical moments from previous years, an original virtual performance by the RUMC Chamber Choir, and a very special "Armed Forces Salute" with a photo montage honoring RUMC's active duty and veteran service members.
