NOW HIRING! Low Voltage Technicians needed in Atlanta area. General Job Description: **Experience working with access control, gates (such as Doorking), and security cameras is required.** --Assist with installation and all aspects of security equipment, wiring, and conduit.... --Install equipment such as flat panel televisions, access control systems, cameras, wireless radios, and alarms; primarily in commercial settings, both new construction and retrofit. --Pull, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling/fiber. --Install network hardware equipment such as routers, switches, and PoE devices. --Install and service commercial integrated security systems, including CCTV/Camera Surveillance, wireless equipment, and access control. --Work with cable and fiber installation in data centers. --Complete workbench projects such as assembling and installing electronic components. --Perform ongoing maintenance and service work. --Must be able to carry, lift, hold, and secure equipment up to 50 lbs. --Must be able perform work using a ladder and bucket truck/lift. --Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: --Must have solid attention to detail, labeling, and record-keeping of installations. --Must be responsible for tool inventory and upkeep daily on job site, including preparing site and clean-up throughout the job. --Ensure that the highest level of safety and quality control guidelines met. Primary Requirements: --Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED/equivalent. --Must have a valid driver's license, clear driving record, and reliable transportation. --Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, which may include background and drug testing. --Physical requirements include ability to climb, stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes consideration of body weight, equipment, tools and boxes. --Must have knowledge and ability to use standard tools, ladders, drills, etc. --Must have ability to safely operate aerial lifts, man lifts, and aerial platform equipment. --Position requires working outdoors in most types of weather. --Must have working knowledge of fall prevention practice and procedures, and practice them daily.
