Avera Fire & Rescue 04.04.2021

A strong storm system will approach Georgia Thursday night into Friday. This system has the capability of producing a few strong to severe storms with the possibility of an isolated tornado along and south of the I-20 corridor. In addition, heavy rain will be possible, north of the !-85 corridor in Northern Georgia.

We want to thank everyone for the continued support and pease stay tuned for fundraising events in the coming months. We were able to assist Gold Cross with loading a patient this morning after a motor vehicle accident. Another patient on their way. Also responding were Louisville Fire, Wrens Fire, and members of Hillcrest Fire Department.

We will be having our annual New Years Eve Fireworks Blowout Monday night. We will start out at 6 PM with a hot dog supper and fireworks around 8:30 PM. Everyone is invited to come enjoy this time with us, at no charge of course and we look forward to seeing you. UPDATE: Fireworks have been moved up to 8PM due to weather and fog. Head on this way if you haven't already.
