Grateful to GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for this hour long fast-paced discussion with the EU Consuls General: voters' registration, absentee ballots, queues, ballot boxes, risk-eliminating audit, election night, county-level specificities, poll workers, voters turnout are just some of the many topics addressed. When planning for the execution of Emile Ferfaille, a young soldier who had strangled his 4 months pregnant fiancée, the Belgian authorities had to import both the executioner and his apparatus from France. The year was 1918 and the official Belgian headsman was out of practice, as the last execution dated from 1863 There have been some executions for war crimes during and just after WW2, but Ferfaille would remain the last person executed in Belgium for an ordinary (non-war...) crime. The abolition of death penalty has since been enshrined in our constitution. It applies to all crimes committed in all situations, including times of war. We believe death penalty to be a violation of the fundamental right to life. And we also believe it just doesn't work as a tool to bring down crime rate. If it is positive, one must self-isolate for another 7 days. - The obligation to go into quarantine and take a test can be waived on the basis of the optional Coronavirus Infection Risk Self-Assessment Questionnaire as part of the Passenger Locator Form.
