This week, we took a mini vacay road trip to St Simon’s Island. Seriously, ya’llwhat a cute sea town!! I was sad we didn’t have more days to explore, but we will be back and soon!! . . We met with the sales manager at the Cloister at Sea Island. What a gorgeous property!! I felt as if I walking the halls of a monastery in medieval Europe. .... . The grounds have serene live oaks draped in Spanish moss, ponds, streams, a river (with a boat for happy hour sailings), and a long walkable beach. It’s family friendly with lots of opportunities for the kiddos to get in touch with nature and plenty of quiet more adult space. . . The spa had the most serene waiting space I have ever experienced. . . You can golf, tennis, kayak, charter a fishing boat (or fish right off the pier), go bowling, ride bikes, and all the fun, outdoor things. . . The hotel has limited the occupancy and spread out restaurant tables for social distancing. They offer residences and homes to rent as well. . . You really need to experience this island in Georgia and stay at this property! There is a reason it’s a client favorite!! When I was in Nashville last week, I met with the Sales Manager of the Noelle Hotel, a gorgeous art-deco historic hotel in downtown next to Printers Alley and a block away from Broadway. Besides having one of the best chocolate croissants I’ve had in ages (kudos to the culinary team), this historic, luxury hotel offers spacious rooms with a residential, mid-century modern feel. Some suites even have a record player!! . . The Noelle has a cozy rooftop area with a bar/restaura...nt called Rare Bird replete with fireplace seating. It’s where I wanna be this fall!! . . The Noelle was originally built as a hotel back in 1930 and was named the Noel Hotel (you can see the sign now in Downtown Franklin). The hotel was purchased by Hamilton Bank in the 70’s. In 2017, the historic building was re-imagined as the Noelle Hotel. . . For those of you who are a bit bougie (like me) and love love a true five star hotel experience, the Noelle is a perfect choice for a Nashville stay. I so love my job!! Am love love loving the uber cool and modern Virgin Nashville Hotel right in the heart of Music City! Virgin Hotels all have a Shag Room () and this one was a cozy space with a giant screen, lots of velvet sectional seating, and, of course, shag carpet. The lobby is replete with ample, spaced-out seating, a pool table and a retro-style bar. . . We met the culinary team including the executive chef, chef in residence, and the chef de Cuisine who all cre...ated an amazing culinary experience for us at their Chef’s Table. . . The rooftop pool deck offers views of Nashville’s skyline and is stunning at night. The food on the pool deck at first seemed like the usual pool offerings, but I am here to tell you it’s truly amazing, fresh, and deliciousdefinitely elevated casual fare. The drinks were well-crafted and seriously ya’ll, they have handmade margaritas on tap....I may or may not have tried all the beverage offerings...for research purposes of course... and you must, must have the cocktail with the Dolly Parton ice cubes!! . The rooms are replete with vintage-style red refrigerators, sliding barn doors, comfy bed and pillows (I wanna put one in my suitcase), and views of the city. . Gosh it's the little things, sometimes. Sitting on my couch overlooking our garden-like verandah choosing the small little Italian hotels and boutique tour companies I'd like to meet as a buyer at a virtual Tuscan travel show. Feeling a bit more like myself: dreaming of travel, finding new gems to discover, dreaming of my clients' travels.... Made me happy, today! I've dreamed of exotic adventures since I was in second grade learning to read stories of traveling spice tr...aders, explorers, tigers, camels, elephants, Marco Polo..... Reminding myself that just because my physical passport hasn't been stamped in what now feels like ages, I can be a mental traveler. Oh and the story below: Tuscany is more than just wine, the Medicis, and pasta....you can be an adventurer and hike, explore, and discover as well. Raising my glass of Vermentino in cheers to you all.

I need a medieval wine window in my life. How about you??

It's still a waiting game for all of us to know how the travelscape will evolve in the short term. I am confident in the long-term rebound, although we will all probably need to put on our Patience Hat.... Check out my quote in Travel Pulse and keep dreaming those travel dreams.

Ya'll know I just love the left bank in Paris, and the Hotel Esprit Saint Germain (and her owner Laurence) is a favorite of mine. I've put many of you in her homey, elegant rooms. Many rooms have been freshly renovated (and they are Gorgeous!). This hotel feels like my home in Paris!
