Tornado Warning in the Birmingham AL area currently. It looks like that particular part of the storm will end up going north of us, but it’s definitely worth keeping your attention on the weather this evening and overnight.

So goes the fortunes of those who gaze into the crystal ball and prognosticate. While we actually did see a few flakes yesterday It turns out the biggest flake, once again, was the weatherman. Still, I would rather run into a burning building than have his job. It looks like temperatures above 2500 feet did reach freezing for a fairly extended period of time so there is highly likely some ice around. Be extra cautious today until the temperature gets a little higher above freezing.

Just to reinforce how fluid our weather situation is, Pickens County has been remove it from the winter storm warning. Being that we have both Pickens and Dawson County within the community, I don’t know that mother nature will respect the county lines, so you still want to be prepared.
