Big Cheese Eventing

So excited to share some photos from our first 2021 outing back at Stableview Farm Aiken Opener in January. We ran in the Open Novice B division, finishing second on our dressage score of 26. I am absolutely thrilled with how well Bandit has recovered from kissing spine surgery in March of last year, and it is so inspiring to see him achieving the dressage scores and jumping confidence I always knew was in there! We hope to be back out again in March and moving back up to Training level...Bandit would like bigger jumps, please! Go Bandit! Go Big Cheese! Photo credit to GRC Photography.

Hey all! I know I've been pretty much MIA since our show series ended on Halloween. I appreciate everyone for coming out and supporting our first year of shows at Ashland Farm and am excited to see how many are already planning their 2021 show season and including us! While I have enjoyed a much needed computer break, I have been busting it with my own personal horses, client horses, students, running the boarding barn and also brainstorming ways to make this coming show seas...on better than the last. Phew! I've also enjoyed an extended visit with my Mum who has been here since October 21st and will be heading home to Maine in another week. I am working on organizing judges, volunteers, and photographers for the upcoming shows, ordering ribbons, painting new jumps and planning more fun for 2021. I am excited to announce that ALL of our shows will have Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) prizes (specific classes will be listed on entry forms, be patient with me, lol), and our 2 & 3 phase events will once again be GDCTA recognized. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and having another fantastic show year - woohoo! :) ~Caroline
