A beautiful wedding last weekend I was told the food was a great as it looked!

Honored to have once again been chosen as The Best of the Best Wedding Venue in Macon! Congratulations to all those who were nominated and who took honorable mentions and most especially thanks to those who have trusted us with your events.

Over the last 13 years we/ I have had the honor of being a part of approximately 400 wedding ceremonies or receptions (I think). We are onsite almost every single day in some capacity. It is hard sometimes to see beyond the upkeep, the pine straw, the planning and the painting, the challenges everyday of keeping it fresh and new and always thinking of a way to make it better. Sometimes in all of that we forget how lucky we are to spend so much time here. But then I see a video like this one and it literally takes my breath away. 13 years is a long time, a lot of floor plans, flowers, candles, cakes and friends. Thanks for letting us be a part of so many celebrations- looking forward to many more! Aubrey

Saturday was a beautiful day for a wedding reception at The Blacksmith Shop! One of our dream teams and clients who had us thinking farther outside of the box than normal. Thanks to Cast Iron Catering, Mary Pinson Flowers, Amanda’s Cakery, DKH Entertainment, Middle Georgia Tent Rentals and coordinator Leigh Adams, it was an absolutely beautiful wedding. Freight doors open with savory beignets on the loading dock, an oyster bar in the courtyard, stations throughout and a sushi bar at the brick oven. Lots of details but one of the best teams to pull it all together! Can’t wait to see the photos from Asha Smith!
