Pretties at the Queen

These nightstands have been transformed from an old vanity. I found them already broken apart at an Estate Sale. Dirty and unwanted. They have been a labor of love. The veneer was in bad shape so I used Saltwash Saltwash to give my paint some texture. This helped hide the messy veneer. My goal was to give it an old European look. My base coat was Fusion Mineral Coal Black. Fusion Mineral Paint. And then a layer of French Eggshell to soften it up. The top transfer and molds for bottom trim and keyhole are from Iron Orchid Designs. Hardware is from DLawless. These are now available for purchase. Located at the Queen of Hearts Alpharetta.
