Merry Christmas from the staff and hosts at Bobby Brown Park. We hope you have a great day today. The office WILL BE CLOSED today and Saturday, December 26. The office will re-open on Wednesday, December 30.

NEW WINTER OFFICE HOURS We have new office hours at the park. The office will be open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The office will be CLOSED on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. These hours will be in effect until the end of February. Phones messages will be checked on the days the office is closed and calls will be returned as soon as possible. Due to COVID-19, the Annual Campground Thanksgiving Potluck Meal scheduled for Saturday, November 28 at the Danny Guthrie Pavilion HAS BEEN CANCELED. Hopefully we can continue this annual tradition again in 2021.

Come join us at Bobby Brown Park for the 4th Annual Petersburg Rendezvous, bringing over 200 years of Georgia history to life, beginning with the French Trapper/Hunters of the early 18th Century, Revolutionary War, Civil War, and Cowboy encampments. See how men and women lived in some of the most pivotal times in Georgia History, Men drilling for Wa...r to gain our Freedom from Britain , and women cooking the evening meal, tending to the sick. Native American Potters and storytellers, learn a game of Graces, Trappers from the French Fur Trade and Mountain Men, Civil War Soldiers and hear the echo of a 10 pound Parrot Rifle echo across the Lake and you might even witness the stories of Cowboys from amazing Storyteller Doc Griffin and his Real life Old West encampment with a covered wagon and trail camp,. Come Spend Friday and Saturday with us and relive what your ancestors fought and died for in our great State of Georgia. No charge for event, but $3.00 daily parking pass is required.
