The Bowdon Foreign Mission Team is hosting a spaghetti luncheon tomorrow, January 12, 2020, after the morning worship service at Bowdon Baptist Church fellowship hall! All proceeds benefit our mission trip to San Pedro Sula and el Plan, Honduras in June, 2020. Come enjoy some great food and good fellowship! P.S. It sure smells good!

' ! This Sunday, November 10, 2019, the Bowdon Foreign Mission Team will host a beans 'n greens luncheon at Bowdon Baptist Church immediately following the morning worship hour (12 noon)! Featuring Terry Gibbs famous cornbread (regular and jalapeño!) and beans and greens. All money raised will benefit our 2020 trip to Honduras where we will treat both physical and spiritual needs. Everyone is welcome!!

Living and working outside in Honduras is hard on the eyes and can lead to problems like pterygium and blurry vision. WebMD indicates you’re most likely to get pterygium if you live near the equator and you’re a man between 20 and 40. VOSH Southeast is a great asset to our annual mission trip with their donation of readers and sunglasses that allows us to provide much needed eye care to people who would otherwise do without. #Honduras2020

And so it begins...we have started the process of accumulating optical and medical equipment for our June, 2020 Honduras Mission Trip! Thanks to a donation from Tillman Eye Center we are well on our way to our goal of being able to provide readers to anyone who might need them. What good is a new Santa Biblia (Holy Bible) if you cannot make out the words? Thanks Dr. Tillman! #Honduras2020

Beautiful words about our mission trip to Honduras from our team member and friend, Sara Claudia Tillman! We were able to meet hundreds of people’s physical needs by providing food, clothing, and medical supplies. More importantly, however, we were able to share about Jesus and provide the enduring relief that can only come from knowing Him.
