We have some great news to share - Velma’s amputation surgery at Brigdon Animal Hospital was successfully completed this week. Because her leg was injured for a... long period of time, there was significant damage for the surgeons to contend with and surgery clocked in at more than 4 hours. A huge thank you to Dr. Brigdon and Dr. Hart and the rest of the staff at Brigdon Animal Hospital for taking such good care of our girl. Velma is recovering comfortably in her foster home, being spoiled by her foster mom with homemade cooking and lots of extra love. We enjoyed helping out Pegasus riding academy yesterday. These great horses are all up to date on vaccines and dewormers thanks to zoetis animal health.
