All these intimate weddings have reminded me of something I always knew- tying the knot isn't about the wedding, it's about the marriage. Hannah & John were ready to be married, and decided to move forward with their original date despite the setbacks 2020 threw at their wedding day. I'm going to do this teaser a bit differently than I usually do. You see, McKenzie & Josh decided to have an intimate ceremony on their original wedding date when C19 forced them to change their plans. And so, without the trappings and regalia, they said their vows in front of a handful of their family and friends. It was a glorious day of commitment and happily ever after! However, there is no denying that there are some moments that you miss when you aren't allowed to gathe...r in celebration on your wedding day. Those are the moments that I wanted to "tease" you two with. Your bridesmaids and grandparents seeing you in your gown for the first time. Your friends, so deliriously happy to celebrate and stand with you as you walk into forever. Your guests, jumping and crying for joy as you walk down the aisle to your forever. Your parents watching all the first dances that they dreamed of since you were both born. A wedding is truly that- the opportunity for everyone you love to come together to celebrate more than a wedding, but a marriage. To watch two people who they couldn't love more, find the person they will experience all of life's joys together. I love my job, and I love to see that we are slowly regaining what people need more than ever- each other
