Beginning today, October 26, the following changes will go into effect for the second grading period: All middle and high school students (grades 6th-12th) currently attending school 2 days each week on the Hybrid (A/B) model will begin attending school four days per week (Monday-Thursday). Pre-K 8th grade students whose parents have elected to change their instructional model from virtual to face-to-face will begin reporting to school 4 days per week.... Pre-K 8th grade students whose parents requested to change their model from face-to-face to virtual learning will begin virtual learning. Burke County High School students will not change their current instructional model until the second semester, which will be January 2021.

Earlier today, Lillian King, Burke County High School Senior, received the WJBF Scholar-Athlete Award! This award is in recognition of her outstanding performance in both the academic and athletic areas throughout her high school career. Congratulations Lillian! We are proud of you! #BearBuilt The Burke County High School #BearsVolleyball Each school year, WJBF and the Scholar-Athlete partners choose 32 outstanding senior student-athletes from across the CSRA to receive the Scholar-Athlete Award. Students must be a senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA and letter in at least one sport.
