Campus Carrier 28.11.2020

Last night, storm warnings were issued for Atlanta and North Georgia as Tropical Storm Zeta hit the northern part of the state. At approximately seven this morning, officials announced through the Berry Alert system that Berry was experiencing campus-wide power outages. At 10 a.m., it was announced that all classes for the day had been officially cancelled, with only emergency personnel reporting for work. Wind and rain from the storm caused significant damage to trees and plant life across campus, as shown in the pictures in this photo series:

The United States Postal Service is recommending that voters who are voting by absentee ballot mail in their ballots today as it is one week from Election Day. Sending your ballots in by today, regardless of state deadlines, will ensure your ballot gets to the election office in time to be counted.

Several of these demonstrations, many of which occurred during Mountain Day activities last week, called upon Berry administrators to act on some of the issues those involved experience on campus.
