We know many of you are concerned about COVID-19. We want to share a tool with you where you can input your symptoms into the CDC's self-checker. After completing the questions, it will provide direction on whether medical care is necessary or not, based on the responses provided. As a reminder, the CDC recommends staying home when you are sick, washing your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, and sneezing or coughing into a tissue and disposing of it whe...n finished. The online tool can be accessed through this link by selecting "Coronavirus Self-Checker". https://www.cdc.gov//2019-n/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html Another great source of accurate and up-to-date information is https://dph.georgia.gov/. The Georgia Department of Public Health's page has many valuable resources that can be used to provide information to concerned individuals and organizations. Updated twice daily, the Georgia DPH has an online tool that provides confirmed COVID-19 cases. That can be found at the following link: https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-19-daily-status-report Know that we at Candler Internal Medicine are here for you.
