Our two big boys, Romeo and Julius, went to their furever home this morning. A very lovely family adopted them, and we could not be happier.

Hello Friends of Catnip Cottage, As most of you know, the owner of Catnip Cottage, our beloved Vickie, passed away last year. Her family and shelter volunteers have kept the shelter open in order to adopt out the remaining cats. So far three of our fur-babies have found good homes, Mosey, Fiona and Doubles. We still have four residents: two big boys, Romeo and Julius. They are brothers and have spent their whole lives in each other's company. We do not want to split them... up which presents a challenge because not too many adopters are able to handle so much cat. But we say "why not double the fun!" We have another big boy, Pierre, who is an absolute cuddle bug. He was named Pierre because of his markings. He is a handsome black and white cat with a white "mustache" on a black face. Someone is going to be awfully lucky to get Pierre. Our last fur-baby, Jolie, is a very shy tabby. Whoever the lucky person is to adopt Jolie will have to have a lot of patience. But it will be worth the wait because once she comes around she will be a friend for life. Those of you who know Catnip Cottage understand how fussy we are about who can adopt our kitties. We love them and, as much as we want them to be adopted, it has to be a good match of cat and human.
