Floor Installation Techs needed! This position does renovation work on athletic flooring and accessories to include sanding, installation, base, screening, rep...airs, painting of floor graphics and application of floor finish, among other things. The work is performed mainly on job sites throughout Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Kentucky. Some overnight travel is required. Usual travel days are Monday Friday. Must be able to work without constant or direct supervision, be able to communicate with customers and explain work progress and address any complaints or concerns they may have, have the ability to learn to operate and perform minor job site maintenance on construction equipment or tools such as saws, drills, floor sanders, buffers, nail guns, etc.and have the ability to read a tape measure and make the proper calculations for woodcuts. Previous experience in basic carpentry or construction, painting, and hardwood flooring is a plus! Due to the nature of the job, candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as well as a current or have the ability to obtain a medical DOT card.
