From Grand Master Bruce James: Good afternoon to ALL! I just got out of a very intense three plus hour meeting determining who and how Irma will affect Florida & Georgia. I ask you to please accept my sincere apology for not getting the info out to you at twelve as I promised. Please pass this information to the membership.... Due to the severe weather forecast but most importantly, the need for hotel accommodation by those that will be affected by Irma, I have decided to CANCEL PHDY Festivities. We have rescheduled PHDY for October 20-22, 2017. We will do all that we can to work with the hotels to reserve whatever room(s) you had for September 9-10, 2017, however, you may be required to make another reservation....... You should received information from the respective hotel, if not we will keep you posted. In an effort to expedite the cancelation of rooms, we have asked the hotels to release all rooms reserved for September 8-10, 2017. It is unfortunate that we are faced with such circumstances but GOD is always in control and we respect that. Likewise, it is the humanitarian thing to do in regards to ensuring that people from south Florida will have somewhere to lay there heads. I ask that you pray for all who will be affected by this monster storm and I pray that we all will survive it with the least bit of hurt, harm and casualties.Likewise, when these storms of life have passed over, I ask that everyone dig deep, real deep in your pockets to help those that have lost everything.
