"The grant funds from the Coronavirus Relief Fund allowed us to provide summer lunches for seven communities this past fall. One of those communities is Thompson Square of Lawrenceville Housing Authority. Because of this partnership and connections made over the summer, we now have the kids and some adults attending Life Groups at Truth’s Place on Tuesday evenings. This is a perfect example for us of how meeting a physical need has given us the opportunity to be involved in t...heir spiritual walk as well. We’ve also been able to introduce them to Truth’s Community Clinic. "This investment of funds was for food but has far reaching implications. Because of grants like this and our donors and volunteers we are able to continue helping people in unforeseen ways. Our numbers to the schools also continue to increase as more students return to in-person classes - we’re providing more and more weekend food bags. We're also anticipating our summer lunch program will continue to grow as well."
