BAD BREATH, also known as oral malodor or halitosis, is a very common and treatable condition. It can be caused by something you eat, or more commonly, poor hygiene. Here are just a few general causes of bad breath: Eating Flavorful Food & Drink... Coffee High-sugar Diets High-Protein or Low-Carb Diets Smoking Digestive Issues Dry Mouth Prescription Medication But, as stated above, most bad breath is caused by poor oral hygiene. If you don’t clean your teeth and your whole mouth regularly, food particles can remain in your mouth and a sticky buildup of bacteria (also known as plaque) can form on your teeth. Even though Chattahoochee Family Orthodontics DOES NOT provide Doggy Dentistry, this story was such fun to follow that we decided to share it with you. Teenagers everywhere may refuse to smile because of braces, but one puppy with a mouthful of metal slayed the Internet with his goofy metal grin. Pictures of the pup have been shared more than 300,000 times. They were even on "Good Morning America." Veterinarian Dr. James Moore in Spring Lake, Michigan, gave the buzz-wort...hy orthodontia to his daughter's golden retriever, Wesley, because the 6-month-old pooch was having problems eating and opening his mouth. Who even knew dogs could get braces? After all, how much time have you spent looking at your pup's not-so-pearly whites?
