Deysy and Alex were complete naturals to shoot. We had a lot of fun doing their engagement session even though our original plans fumbled. They are actually getting married next month and I can’t wait to shoot their big day! Something I tell everyone at a session when they feel awkward in the interaction moments is how you’ll remember these little quirks and jokes when you see the final images. Here is what Alex responded when I delivered their gallery: Love these pics! Thank you so much for getting these together and making everything look so nice. You are a true professional! I must say its funny how I recall things that were said and done while the pictures were happening. When Deysy smiles, it melts my world.
Rachel’s bouquet creatively features and old-time photo of a passed relative to remember and honor on her wedding day. Too many times I hear stories from other brides about a relative passing after their wedding. Well I’m sorry to say I’ve also had a bride experience this, and having met the people in her life that she just lost makes me feel for her even more. I can say every person I’ve ever talked to about this has been so greatfull ...to have photos of them together on their wedding day all dressed up and looking nice! During weddings I often get requests to get photos of grandma so little does grandma know but I’m low key stalking to get the bride those Candids lol See more
I hope everyone has seen bridgerton so you understand this reference lol! I’m getting some serious bridgerton vibes from Katelyn and Anthony’s engagement shoot which happened before Bridgeton ever existed but it makes me love these even more than I did already! Do you see it too?!
We spent the day exploring the beach area for future sessions! Who else just needs to get out of the house!?
One of my favorite dress shots! As a photographer it's both important and my job to make sure photos look their best. Even though this was just the getting ready location, I love how regal this feels.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers out there!
Our new site and blog is live! Its so exciting because it has been in the works for months now and I’m so happy it’s finished because it was holding me back from doing so many other great things. Like posting all my brides wedding days! Check out my first 2020 wedding of Angelina’s (who’s in this picture! ) bride story on the blog here: https://tinyurl.com/1dsr3gnc
I love designing and offering albums! Linen, leatherette, leather, crystal, silk.... You name you got an album with it! and the best part... It lays flat with library binding and quality thick photo pages
Hey brides! If you’re not sure who to look at for wedding invitations I get it there’s so many choices! ...Below is a list of vendors to check out! Each offers free samples to blow you away I started with the vendors I personally thought had the best quality first from in person experience but they are all good for any budget. The beautiful invitation in the photo was printed from the Knot. If you’re currently looking to choose shutter fly the first person to ask will ge...t 40% off their order with special code! 1. Zola 2. Minted 3. Magnet Street 4. The Knot 5. Etsy 6. Vistaprint 7. Shutterfly See more
Hi there new faces! Let me introduce myself from the opposite side of the lens. Here are three fun things to know about me: 1. I love little quirks and using them to get everyone to laugh and have a great time. What’s the point of your photos if they don’t capture your memory right? 2. Adventure is something I live for! Seeing new places making new memories, doing what the average person wouldn’t for a photo. It’s fun and a passion, I want to shoot the unknown! 3. Trust. I’m... probably the most brutally honest but completely loyal person. Customer service isn’t just about being happy all the time or giving into demands. It’s about genuinely showing you care. If your bronzer looks too heavy in the photos while getting ready, you can trust that I’ll let you know so it can be blended out right away! I hope you enjoyed these three rare known facts about me. For a deeper dive into what makes me me, take a look at the about me section on the Champagne&Pearl website. See more
Photographer Tip #2: When capturing lay-flat/detail shots sometimes you can pull random items in the room to make up for what you don’t have or to add interest to the photo. For this image, In the hotel room I removed the dark comforter to reveal the white sheet underneath, laid down the veil to create texture, took the pink back tie of a bridesmaid dress to act as ribbon, and the maid of honors travel perfume bottle to add a matching detail for cohesiveness. The brides shoes are also peaking out in the top corner of the full image. The key is to make the positioning of each (especially the ribbon) item looks like it was naturally placed in the position and not just posed for a photo.
I live for adventure and love when couples ask me to incorporate that into a session. After about an hour long hike to this really cool rock field with about a 70ft drop to the right we toasted glasses with bourbon to Brooke and James engagement!
