As one of the many companies that donate to help support the Yaarab Shriner’s mission of providing care for children and families in need, we were given an allotment of FREE passes to the annual Shriner’s Circus that was scheduled for 06 09 August 2020 in Cumming, Georgia. Our office made these FREE passes available at our front desk for the last 6 weeks and about half of them have been picked up during that time (we do not know who has picked them up, but we want to do wh...at we can to attempt to let everyone know that the event is NOT happening Aug. 2020). This week we received an official letter to inform us that the event is being rescheduled to May 2021 due to the Covid19 pandemic and out of an abundance of caution for all parties involved. The Shriners have indicated that this year’s 2020 tickets will be honored at the May 2021 Circus. Please accept our apologies, and those of the Shriners. We will continue to support their mission and expect to have more tickets for next year’s Circus that is aiming for May 2021. Thank you, as always, and continue to take care of your families. An update from Dr. Adkins: Hello and Happy 4th of July Weekend! I just wanted to take the opportunity to let you, our valued patients, know that although things are different (mostly a little slower), things are going well in the dental office. We are doing everything the CDC and DPH have mandated and recommended (much of which were practices we have always followed). As always, we are following the science and taking heed accordingly. PPE is the bottom line standard along ...with instrument sterilization. HEPA air filtration units throughout the office, social distancing, more time between patient appointments to devote to aerosol reduction and low volume cold fogging with HOCL solution (the same system that airlines have adopted). This technique is non-hazardous to animal, plant, marine, and human life, but deadly to bacteria, viruses, germs, and microbial spores. It is also bio-degradable and environmentally friendly while controlling a broad spectrum of harmful pathogens and difficult to kill biofilms. We are always doing our level best to take care of you (and ourselves) in this COVID19 battle. Thanks so much for being such cooperative, flexible, and responsible patients.
