UPDATE: Our Wildlife Control Specialist has determined that there is no evidence of an alligator within Lake Peachtree or its headwaters to include: no live specimens active on the open water during daylight hours or during hours of darkness and no evidence of disturbed basking area or slides on any shorelines that would indicate any activities.

Join the City of Peachtree City for Hometown Holiday at Drake Field! This year, the event begins at 6 PM and the City Christmas Tree will be lit at 7 PM. Santa will arrive on a fire truck to light the tree, and will make his way by golf cart to his sleigh to visit with all of the children! Santa will be social distancing while sitting up in his sleigh, and children can take photos with him and share their holiday wishes! Children will also be able to visit with the Snow Queen... herself, in a beautiful lit up dress, high up and on stilts to allow for social distancing! We will also have holiday music, s'mores, fire pits to warm up at, children's activities, and refreshments for purchase. See more

Full Closure of Highway 54 at Gateway Bridge will occur on 12/3 beginning at 9:00pm to 5:00 am on the 4th.

Please be aware that an alligator was spotted in Lake Peachtree yesterday. We have contacted our Wildlife Control Specialist to evaluate the situation to get this issue resolved. In the meantime, please be cautious and safe in or around Lake Peachtree.
