Members of Snellville Performing Arts led the Pledge of Allegiance at Monday’s meeting of Mayor and Council. The Snellville Youth Commission Advisory Board and the city’s Planning Commission had two new members sworn in at Monday’s meeting of Mayor and Council. Marcus Huff (first picture) is now a member of the SYC Advisory Board and Antonio Jones (second picture) was sworn in to Post 2 of the Planning Commission. Mayor Barbara Bender administered the oath of office. Welcome aboard, gentlemen!

GO GROVE! Asbestos abatement is taking place in some of the vacant buildings which will soon be demolished to make way for The Grove at Towne Center, including at the former U.S. Post Office on Oak Road.
