City of Cedartown water bills were mailed December 15. Due to an unforseen backlog in the United States Postal Service, many residents did not receive their bill until last week. Because of that, late fees will be waived. Also please note: Patience is appreciated as we continue to try and curb the transmission of COVID-19. To better protect you and our employess, we've instituted a "no terminal sharing" policy. Because of this, wait time to pay your bill in person may be long...er. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO PAY WITHOUT CONTACT/WAITING IN LINE: www.cedartownpay.com or call for automated payments 844-699-2849 Also, City Hall has ONE marked entrance and ONE exit. The **entrance** is on the Philpot Street side. The exit door is located on the East Avenue side. (You can not enter through the East Avenue door )

The Cedartown City Commission Work Session for December 7 has been canceled. The regular monthly meeting will be held on December 14 at 6 p.m. Meetings are always open to the public. An agenda for the December 14 meeting will be posted next week on Facebook and at www.cedartowngeorgia.gov

Here's the first photo clue and journal entry: Day One: I've landed in a charming little city. The first thing on my list to do: explore downtown. It is beautiful here. Many of these buildings have been here since the 1900s -- that's almost as old as me! They have a giant Christmas tree, lights everywhere and lighted garland that's really put me in the holiday spirit. I climbed on top of this bike rack to take it all in. Maybe I will stop in and buy Mrs. Gnome a bouquet of flowers before I leave today. Until next week, Gnome on the Roam #gnomeontheroam
