2020- 2021 Science Fair for K - 5 Face-to-Face and Virtual Students I know many of you have been anxiously awaiting some communication about what Science Fair (SF) will look like this year. Thank you for your patience as we’ve continued to navigate the current pandemic situation and its impact on events such as SF. To ensure the safety of our students there will be no school science fair judged by our community partners for 2020-2021 school year. However, all students in gr...ades 3rd-5th are eligible to participate the NWGA Regional Fair. We have not yet received any specific details regarding dates or format other than it will be held no later than February 15, 2021. Grades 1 2 students and Grades 3 5 winners from the NWGA Regional Fair will be able to compete the Elementary State Science Fair March 8-12, 2021 using a virtual platform. The virtual competition will include live stream interviews by judges scheduled over a period of days. Students will receive a specific interview day/time depending on their category. More information is being prepared. ( Last year we had 5 students 1st 5th grade win at the state event!) Therefore, to help them prepare, an informational Teams meeting for students and parents will take place Thursday, December 3 at 5:30 PM. Click this link to join. Additional Teams bi-weekly meetings (dates TBD) will be scheduled to provided assistance and support, including the scientific process, for any 1st 5th students wanting to participate.
