Come celebrate the holiday season at the 14th Annual Christmas in Claxton Parade of Lights Thursday, December 3rd, 6:00 pm. This year’s parade has a new route! The parade will begin at the intersection of Highway 280 and N. Clark Street (between the Evans County Public Library and Board of Education Central Office); it will travel Highway 280/Main Street to the traffic light at River Street; turn north (left) onto River Street; turn west (right) onto Long Street at Evans ...Memorial Hospital and conclude just beyond Camellia Health & Rehabilitation (1.4 total miles). Don’t miss the magic and excitement of this special holiday tradition. Proudly sponsored by the Claxton Downtown Development Authority.

The Claxton Downtown Development Authority has amended the guidelines for the Christmas in Claxton Parade of Lights to include automobiles this year! Just remember, all units must be decorated with lights. It’s not too late to register to participate deadline, Monday, November 30th. Parade is scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd, 6:00 pm. PM your email address for the the registration form.
