ATTENTION BUSINESS OWENRS: The GA Department of Labor (GDOL) has adopted an emergency rule 300-2-4-0.5. The rule mandates all Georgia employers to file partial claims online on behalf of their employees for any week during which an employee (full-time/ part-time) works less than full-time due to a partial or total company shutdown caused by the COVID-19 public health emergency. Filing partial claims online results in your employees receiving unemployment insurance (UI) benef...it payments faster, usually within 48 hours for claims filed electronically. ATTENTION TAXPAYERS: The IRS is moving the national income tax filing day from April 15th to July 15th as part of the growing effort to stem the financial pain from the coronavirus pandemic. This will give all taxpayers and businesses three more months to file and make payments without interest and penalties. Most people will receive a refund when they file their tax return, and those people are urged to file immediately to receive their refunds to help during this pandemic....
