Shannon Hemenway, APRN, APN-BC, CLS is a board certified NP and has been a member of the Coastal Cardiology provider team for over 14 years. She began her career as a cardiology RN in 1996 after graduating from Norfolk State University, and her NP career in 2001 after graduating from the University of Delaware with a Masters of Science in Nursing. As a diplomate of the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology, she is our certified Clinical Lipid Specialist. Shannon has over 24 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine and her area of special interest is lipidology (treatment of cholesterol disorders) and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Olivia Neal, APRN, NP-C joined Coastal Cardiology in 2013 after working at the Heart Failure Center at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. She graduated from UAB with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2012 and from Georgia College and State University with her BSN in 2008. Olivia is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner and has over 12 years of experience taking care of cardiovascular patients. Her area of special interest and training is heart failure.
