Magistrate Court of Cobb County 21.12.2020

Please see the latest FAQs concerning eviction cases in the Magistrate Court of Cobb County. Congress has extended the CDC’s partial eviction moratorium until January 31. Due to unprecedented COVID spread, all eviction hearings are cancelled in the Magistrate Court until further order. If served, tenants still must file an Answer with the court. If applicable, tenants still must provide a CDC Declaration to their landlord. If the CDC protections do not apply, some tenants may still be subject to eviction if an order was previously entered or the tenant fails to file an Answer.
