2021 is almost here! This year, you may be more likely to try and shoot your own fireworks since many public firework display shows have been cancelled. If you do, please follow these guidelines and stay safe: Closely supervise children playing with fireworks. When shooting fireworks, always keep water nearby. Never place any part of the body directly over a firework device. Never point fireworks in the direction of another person.... Never try to relight a malfunctioning firework device. Never shoot off fireworks out of a glass or metal container. Each year, thousands of Americans are admitted to ERs with burn injuries caused by fireworks.
